First peek at the cover of FRENZY!
The second batch of possible covers for FRENZY! Tell me what you think.
The covers below are from the first round of possibilities.
This is the one we like best, because it shows the whole family. The designers will tweak the figures to better represent the Kings. For example, the figure to the right of the smallest one (Toria) will be shortened to make it clear that it is 12-year-old David. Xander stands next to him.
This one is pretty cool, too. I'm concerned about two things: (1) It seems a little to much like a "horror" cover to me...or maybe "science fiction" (the figure looks kind of like an alien); and (2) I'm not sure WHO this is supposed too be. One of the Kings? Phemus?
One possibility we're considering: The first cover (with the family) with the greenish-blue coloring of the second one.

I like the idea of the first cover with the color of the second one. Looks interesting! I've read the first two and all your other books except for Deadlock.
I agree with with Jonathan. That's a lovely green.
The first one looks a lot like the one from "Watcher in the Woods" just with more people. The second one is completely different, and definitely has a "frenzied" feel to it.
Since I have only read the first one so far, my opinion may not amount to much. I do like the blueish-green tint. It's distinctly different than the colors of the other covers. I also agree with having all family members in the pic (at this point I don't know how many should be represented). Since I'm not viewing a full-sized copy of the cover, it's hard for me to distinguish between the legs and trees around Xander and David. Other than that, I think it's awesome!
I like the first cover with the blue/green coloring! Just finished Timescape today..... Can't wait for Whirlwind!! Thanks for a great series!
I like the color of the second one and I think that the picture of the first one is pretty cool so I'd say mix them together!
I like the second one better, but I think the first one goes better with the series.

I personally, Like the one with the family, because it shows the whole family. I do love them both, and will be happy with whatever you chose
I like the whole Fammily. But the blueish color would be awesome with it.

I like the sepia toned one, although it's similar to "Watcher in the Woods". Maybe that's good. I have no idea. The other one looks like someone trying to come through plastic sheeting. :) I like the idea of the family with the blue/green coloring!

I like the red one best with the family. The tan-ish one looks to much like the second book. The green is cool but red is best because you have'nt used that color yet. :D

i think you should use the red frenzy cover with the family standing together and the mother sourtov ther but only ther in spirit it reminds you of the 2nd book with taksidian wacthing the house frenzy has that same shadoey look to it but this time its not evil i like the red because you alredy have most other colors that if someone was looking for abook wouldent pass they would be drawn to it (by the way dont use pink as a book cover it would make the person walk right one by and be thinking girly book without even reading the back) by the way im a girl and dont like girly books

i have read the comments and are some of them being hard on you well hers a thought write the book frist then think about what you wrote what was one of the main points in this book ? was it neer th begininng or the end ? if its towrd the beging should i use it? would it give away the ending ? mabey i need to change it. and figur out a main point that satisfies you and find a way to put it into a picture and choose the color with the most votes and poof the pressurs off and your done now get it publishes is all you have too do but put a little skip in your step and hurry along your fans are waiting

The One with the person on it is cool. The person is whoever is in the window on The House of Dark Shadows cover Mr. Liparulo. I think There all sooo cool. I'm getting Whirlwind Wednesday and I'm rereading the whole series so I'll be ready now. I'm SSOOOOOOOOOOO excited for Whirlwind!!! And FRENZY can't wait to read them.
