Whirlwind cover!
Here's the cover of Whirlwind (Dreamhouse Kings #5), which will hit stores in December. This cover depicts a place/time in history the Kings find themselves. Xander and David see this gate before stepping through it to discover the place isn't anything like what they thought it was. If you thought the ride was wild before . . . well, let's just say Whirlwind lives up to its title.

Hi I saw your books at a book fair and couldn't stop reading them. I finished 1-3 in less than a week! And I got friend into them. Right now as I type I'm reading 4! And i can NOT wait until whirlwind comes out!!!
This cover is astonishing! I am so amazed at the beautiful artwork on the covers. They definitely don't live up to the phrase "You can't judge a book by its cover" because the writing is just as magnificent as the artwork! I can't wait for the rest of the books to come out and I hope the ending leaves me in awe! Best wishes on books 5 & 6!

That is so cool!!! I finished Timescape the other day and I can't wait for Whirlwind, I just might die of exitment before it comes out!:D Your books are amazing and i love the cliffhangers! The covers are really cool too! One question, I think that i heard some where that there will only be six books in the series.. is that ture? Anyway you are a great writer, and all of your books are awesome!
Thanks, Tay. This series will end after six books (Frenzy is the last). However, I'm thinking about another series with the Kings and the house, which will pick up right after this one ends.

It's one of the portals. There are 20 of them on the third floor of the house (others elsewhere).

After Timescape, comes Whirlwind (out December 2009), then Frenzy (April 2010). Six books total. Hope you like them.
I read all the books straight withen a couple of hours because I can't put them down! And I've reread them all at least twice and am currently doing a book report on the DHK books. Keep up the good work

I'm working on a different young adult series that I think readers of Dreamhouse will like. After this series, I think I'll jump into another Dreamhouse series. Long live the Kings!

Hi Andy. Thanks for the note. David is my favorite character. It used to be Xander, but as the story progressed, I realized David is more who I was at that age, so I guess I relate to him more.
