Coming soon...

Update: Just finished Whirlwind (book five). I'll get to the posts mentioned below soon.

I'm planning a series of posts that will answer some of the more frequent questions I receive, such as why I end each book in a cliffhanger, how I came up with the titles of the books, and what the status is on the Dreamhouse Kings movie. I'll also introduce you to some special readers who help me catch goofs before the books go to press.

So check back soon!

Hi Robert! I received the first of this series to review from Thomas Nelson. I (and my mother) are looking forward to Timescape!!!

Here is my review.

Thanks for the kind review, Bluestocking. Have you read Gatekeepers? Hope you like Timescape. Take care!

Yay! Sounds cool! Thanks.

Hi Robert I did in fact read Gatekeepers and have already reviewed it. I had to special order it from Barnes and Noble. Apparently they only ordered 18 for the whole country. Here is my review.

I'm sorry, I really don't mean to rush you, but when are you going to announce the winners of the dream scene contest?

Movie?! Are you serious? That would be awesome!

Hey, and if in the future you need help with "catching goofs", let me know and I'd be glad to help!

Mr. Liparulo,

I got the first three books for christmas and flew through them, eagerly awaiting the next book, any word on whether it might come out sooner like gatekeepers did?

Hi Laura, we're narrowing down the prospects now. We had many more entries than we expected, and it's tough to choose; even the great ones may not "make it" because they have to fit the story line. I wish there was a way to fit in 100 winners!

Hey Connie, right now we're full up (we decided on a specific number to make sure we could manage them), but I'll keep you in mind. I appreciate the offer!

Hello Mark, I'm glad you liked the first three. I think the fourth (Timescape) is the best so far, at least that's the word I'm getting back from editors and early readers. The release date is July 7, but there's a good chance it'll be available before then. I'll try to get the word out when I know it's on the shelves.

Take care!

So when will these posts be coming? It's almost April and still nothing...

Blogger Robert Liparulo said...

Coming, coming...really! I got tied up with a book expo in Dallas and the publicity machine is in full gear for my latest thriller, Deadlock (http://deadlockthebook.blogspot.com)--many more interviews and media meeting than I've ever had. Caught me off guard. I'll try to get to the first of the posts this week!

Oh okay, thanks Robert! I was dying to know why no new winners had been picked yet. I hope you're able to pick the best ones, even if it isn't me.

Are you making book six or is five the end?

Blogger Robert Liparulo said...

There will be a total of six books in the Dreamhouse Kings series. I hope to continue following the Kings on their adventures after that . . . we'll see. Thanks for asking.

Alright thanks. I didn't mean to sound rude sorry :)

What does Book #5 look like?

Anonymous Anna said...

hello my friends and I have been waiting to hear when the movie will come out. Ooh and you should pick a contest and winners from it could get to meet you, or even be in the movie!

Hi Anna,

Great idea for a contest. I'll see what I can do. The movie is slow going right now. Some producers and screenwriters are working on it. The progress is supposed to pick up soon...we'll see. One of the hold-ups is that they were waiting for the complete story (through book six, Frenzy), so they were waiting for me. It's finished now and they're working those story elements into their plans. Thanks for asking! Say hi to your friends for me.

Robert
